Tell The Birds was created in collaboration with Lydia Burggraaf. In this work we attempt to communicate with birds using signs designed by the public and painted by us with special ”Bird Vision” uv-reflective paint that birds can see, but humans cannot.
With an emphasis on the science and understanding of the difference between bird and human vision, this work reflects on the anthropocentricity of our perceptions of the visual experiences of other animals.
